Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best and now that the jawless skull is finished I have to wonder why he wasn't made sooner. My obsession with detail sometimes clouds my vision and Yorick has reminded me that occassionally less is more.

He has the same realistic approach as the Classic, but a heavier brow and slightly uneven teeth give him a character all his own.

It depicts the desiccated remains of the sinners' Guardian Angel, the bleached skull and moth-eaten eagles' wings sit atop a banner bearing the epitaph 'Sinner'. Like the Sinner, this ring depicts the mortal remains of a fallen Angel. The darkened wings are Shadow finished, contrasting with a polished sterling silver skull. The banner is 18k yellow gold and allows up to seven letters to be hand engraved in an inscription of your choice. The Original Sinner is shipped in a pine coffin.

I want the Kaiser to say 'bad to the bone' but with a feel of old school villainy about it. The WW1 helmet immediately brings to mind images of rattling machine guns, dog-fighting biplanes and booming heavy artillery.

Another spontaneous ring with a touch of the Pagan gods about it.
The twisted goat horns were a real challenge but helped to achieve a sculptured feel, incorporating the theme of the ring completely throughout its design.

For some time now, I have wanted to carve a ring in relief and the Fire Drake is that ring. Perfectly wearable as a womens heavy finger ring and perhaps ideally suited to a thumb ring, it has enough substance to be worn by a guy. I've called it the Fire Drake as it is the first dragon I have depicted breathing fire.

This piece has been literally years in the making. It started as a rough sketch and rattled around in my head for some time before it began to physically take shape. As I've been working on it, it has evolved and taken on a lot of unplanned characteristics. It is an exciting piece to work on, and I feel it epitomizes the qualities I try to put into every piece I make.

Believe it or not, the family cat was part of the inspiration for this ring. It's composition is based on the crossed paws position our cat adopts when resting. It gives the dragon an almost sphinx like feel and a more feminine quality. This is my first piece made solely as a womans ring, and is crafted in 18k red gold, hence the title of Red Dragon.

As much armour as a piece of jewelry, the Celtic Torc not only donated warrior status but offered protection to the throat.
